Troop 80 – Amarillo, TX Proud to be a "60 Year" Troop

JLT is an opportunity for the Scouts in the Troop who are ranked First Class and above to learn leadership skills that will be necessary for them to serve in any leadership position within the Troop. If a Scout wishes to serve as SPL, ASPL, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Scribe, or any other position in the Troop, this camp is mandatory. It is jammed packed full of information for adult leaders as well. Don't be mislead though, this is still a fun camp!
JLT 2009

January 2009

Summary: Great camp with the exception of the cold and EXTREME wind. Eric Spellman did a wonderful job of keeping the boys engaged. Thanks to Mr. Nuttall for allowing us to have this camp at his family's ranch and for letting us use the new bunkhouse for the training. All the Assistant Scoutmasters had excellent input and were very motivated. We will have a good year!
