The top scout officer of a Troop is called the Senior Patrol Leader. In Troop 80 the Committee elects the Senior Patrol Leader each December to serve for the following calendar year. A scout must be Eagle Rank to serve as Senior Patrol Leader in Troop 80. The young men who
have served others in this capacity have gone on to become community leaders and productive citizens. Several of the Senior Patrol Leaders have had sons or nephews join Troop 80.
