```````Venture Uniforms`````````
Ventures and committee voted for ventures to go to national venture uniform. All ventures should get by the scout office and obtain new uniforms.
Old uniforms. Always need old uniform parts for use by other scouts. Also, grey T-shirts, hats, neckerchiefs, and black sweatshirts.
///War update///
David Alexander (Eagle Scout 2000) is currently in Iraq or Kuwait with the 101st Airborne. Airman First Class Abel Wilson (Eagle Scout 2001) stationed at Fort Hood received deployment orders for northern Iraq. He is a TAC-P, assigned to the 1st Calvary.
Correction. Josh Palmer is not in the service as was reported in the previous newsletter. It is his brother, John Palmer.
CAMP HAYNES REPORT. All scouts and leaders made it into Camp Haynes from Caprock Canyon State Park. Steve Filipowicz, Steve Tunnel, and Henry Sena ran the rapelling and everyone did a great job of jumping off the cliffs on a rope. The senior officers conducted a U.S. flag retirement ceremony, with Kevin Coffey playing Taps. His father RC, gets the G.P.S. award for getting lost with a G.P.S. unit (but for only a while). Some rain, some wind, lots of sunshine on Sunday. New truck worked great. Sorry about the paint job JG.
WATER POLO TOURNAMENT
Kiowa patrol blasts Zuni in first round action. In semi-finals, Sioux Patrol clobbers the once mighty Apaches. Papago advances to finals at the expense of young Kiowas. Finals next month between Sioux and Papago patrols.
