Yosemite 2009

From the Scoutmaster:

Parents of Troop 80,

I would like to let all of the parents know that your sons and or husbands behaved like true gentlemen on this trip. We had very few problems with discipline on this trip. If it were not for the mechanical breakdowns on this trip- it would have come off without a hitch.

As we had some food left from the trip it needs to be cooked up before it goes bad. We will be scheduling a family night this week, tentative location will be Camp Don Herrington, so we can get everyone together for food, reviewing the pictures, and for some swimming. I will let everyone know the time and date as soon as possible.

Once your son gets everything unpacked, and you find that he has some missing or extra clothes, we have a bunch of unclaimed clothing after we did laundry. Please bring any extra clothing back to the meeting Tuesday.

We are already in the process of planning the next “Great Adventure”.

Thanks,
Stephen Tillery

In July 2009, Troop 80 will travel to Yosemite National Park. This trip will last a total of 10 exciting days, having stops at many interesting spots of interest along the way. Listed on this page you will find links and information about the trip and some of the things we plan on doing while on tour across our beautiful country. The cost for this trip will shock you. Historically, Troop 80 is able to take long distance and adventurous trips for less than any other troop in town. This trip will cost NO MORE THAN $300 per person. This figure does not include any extra cost of personal camping equipment or spending money.
